Medium Worsted Weight Yarn

4.5mm (US 7) Needles
-------------------

Cast on 38 stitches (10in. wide Plain Knit)

Body: Knit 11in. long of Plain Knitting

For next four rows: Slip 1, Knit 1 (slipover), knit to end of row, then K2tog to end row.
(this will decrease width to 30 stitches)

To make 4 Holes:
Next Row: K3, WRN, K2tog, K1, K2tog … repeat to end of row
Next Row: Knit whole row
Next Row: Knit 13, K2tog, knit to end
(will reduce width to 26 stitches)

Begin 3” of ribbing for top (K2, P2). Cast off.

Repeat above to make second half of cover.

Sew up each side and bottom, leaving 4in slit in middle, to slip over hot water bottle.

Braid three strands of yarn together to make 18in. ribbon to weave through holes.
